Sun Wisdom Love's Little Surprises
Aries (March 21 to April 20): Aries hates the thought of being half of a couple. This is why they are surprised when love catches them. The depth of their emotions and the fact that they can see tomorrow with their partner, a change from their normal inability to see past what they are doing right now, surprises them. This explains the explosive jealousy that Aries displays when they think that someone is trying to lure their lover away.Taurus (April 21 to May 21): Taurus often finds themselves a part of a couple because it that is what is expected. If everyone assumes that you are in love, then it must be so. What surprises Taurus is when they realize that either themselves or their partner is not actually in love, and is merely there because it feels comfortable. This discovery hurts one or both parties. It may take several tries before Taurus learns to distinguish love from mere comfort.
Gemini (May 22 to June 21): For Gemini, every new lover is dusted with moon dust, and is thought to be perfect. The surprise for Gemini comes when they realize that their lover is flawed like everyone else. This leads to some messy breakups. The illusion of perfection also explains the jealousy that Gemini displays; perfect people are not supposed to flirt with anyone other than their partner. As Gemini matures, they get better at accepting people as they really are.
Cancer (June 22 to July 22): Cancers are born romantics; they are looking for the fairy tale. They walk into every new relationship with rose-colored glasses on. What surprises them is how flawed actual relationships are. They are also surprised about the insecurity that plagues them whenever they are not with their lover. Over time, they get better at dealing with their insecurity, and the fact that relationships are work, but they never completely overcome their romantic visions.
