Libra And Health

           The charmers of the zodiac, you Libra people know how to win them all over. Some would even describe you as the life of the party. Your magnetic charm draws them in to your world were they may never want to leave. On the flip side of the coin, this can make some of you quite the party hounds. Also, being the sign of partnerships, Libras work best in partnerships and can become very irritated and depressed if not in a union. Striving for balance and harmony in a Libras life can lead to becoming a people pleaser to the point where your feelings do not matter. Your very prone to overextending yourself, so be careful. This is very bad for your mind, soul, and especially your body.

 

                FITNESS:  Due to the above fact of your proneness for overexerting yourself, having a vigorous exercise routine is not in the cards for you Libra. Although you are very good at keeping up the energy when it is asked of you, eventually it will ware on your body. Do not get me wrong exercise is important to all people, but for a Libra take it easy. For you, what is the most important fitness goal is doing exercises that will improve your posture and help strengthen your lower back. So for you Libras out there, Yoga and Pilates would be of great benefit. 

                DIET: You do tend to have generally good healthy, but a Libras health is ultimately influenced by your surroundings and relationships. In a diet sense, something you need to keep check of is your sodium phosphate intake. This mineral will balance out the acids and alkali in the body. Since Libra rules the kidneys and lower back, as well as skin, hair, and veins, if you have too much acid in your body will interfere with your kidney functions. Foods that contain this mineral are strawberries, apples, raisins, almonds, asparagus, peas, corn, carrots, spinach, beets, radishes, tomatoes, wheat, brown rice, and oatmeal. Also another element Libras need in your diet is protein and avoid sugar, fat, and acid producing foods. Having a good protein (actually I should say lean protein like fish, chicken and other sea foods) will help with your energy levels and strength. Another piece of advice is to avoid any alcohol and carbonated drinks because they are known to affect the kidneys.

                SKIN CARE:  The planet of Venus, which is your ruling planet, rules the skin, hair and veins. Due to this reason, Libras tend to have extremely sensitive skin. Also, with the mineral sodium phosphate that I talked about above, your skin will show your lack of this mineral and any other signs of not taking care of yourself. When using new skin products, be aware because Libras are prone to those nasty breakouts very quickly. Using all natural based products would actually be a Libras best bet due to the fact that they are very gentle with sensitive skin.  Also taking good care of your skin and body will make a world of difference for a Libra.

                You are the scale; everything must be in balance for a Libra to feel happy and healthy. Remember to not overexert yourself, give yourself some rest, eat the right foods, and please be careful what you apply to your skin. Doing all of these things will allow the true Libra charmer to push through; wowing everyone with your mere presence.
